Sand casting utilizes a mixture of sand, clay and water compacted to form each mold half. Our greensand foundry handles both low and high volume jobs using Squeezer, Cope & Drag, Floor, or Hunter methods.
Our tilt-pour permanent mold process employs precision-machined cast iron molds to achieve near-net-shape castings, reducing machining needs. We produce castings ranging from 0.5 lbs to 57 lbs with outstanding accuracy and consistency.
Castings may require multiple sand cores depending on the empty space needed. At PPF, we produce all Shell Cores and No Bake Cores in-house, working closely with you during design to handle empty spaces effectively.
